Student Learning in a Clinical Setting of Employment

As some undergraduate medical students have previous employment experience in other areas of health care, they may choose to support themselves financially through temporary or seasonal employment in their registered health professional roles. At times, these roles overlap with learning in clinical environments. These guidelines advise learners who wish to undertake a clinical rotation in a patient care environment by which they are, or have been, employed as a health care provider.
