A team of 12 intrepid iLead students from Nipissing University are currently in Jamaica working with Great Huts Resort and the Portland Rehabilitation Management Centre to help solve real-world management issues using theories and skills learned in class.
The students are joined by two faculty members, Dr. Natalya Brown, Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Economics, and Dr. Leslie Wardley, Assistant Professor in the School of Business.
This is the fourth consecutive year that students and faculty from the School of Business have travelled to the North coast of Jamaica through Nipissing’s iLead Business Experience Certificate.
This year’s team has arrived safely, are getting accustomed to Jamaican culture and had the chance to swim in Luminous Lagoon. You can discover what the students are up to by following them on Twitter at @ileadjamaica or reading their blog here. The group returns on Monday, Feb. 23.
