The 2009-2010 year has set a firm foundation for Ontario universities to plan for the future. More students are seeking the benefits of a university education, a new quality assurance framework is ensuring that both new and continuing university programs meet the highest standards of quality, and Ontario Faculties of Medicine are expanding to accommodate more educational spaces for students to address Ontario’s supply of physicians. The annual report captures these efforts, along with others including the celebration of the Canadian Research Chair program’s 10 year anniversary, the launch of an Aboriginal self-identification project, and the continued work to green our university campuses.
