This report collects proceedings from the November 2010 conference on Promoting Productive Partnerships among Colleges, Universities and Long-term Care Homes, which was designed to explore options and opportunities for implementing long-term care homes as centres of learning in Ontario. Key messages in the report include: the urgency of challenges facing the provincial health care system, the importance of cross-jurisdictional comparison and collaboration, the importance of integrating long-term care homes within the health care system, and the important roles of research and funding in this process.
